What does a sender/fulltime sender look like?

What an interesting evening. This topic followed on nicely from the last topic which was "Are we all called?" The conclusion of last week is that we ARE definitely all called to the nations, whether directly or indirectly. If we are not goers or co-ordinators then are we called to be senders? Is it possible to be a disciple if we are not one of the three? Uhmm, no. This might seem hard but God called us to be a blessing to the nations and in order to do that we need to fall into one of these three categories. Remember the Abrahamic covenant "and through you all the nations will be blessed".

The one thing that must be established in our lives before we become goer, sender or co-ordinator is LORDSHIP. Once we do this everything will fall into place. Mark 8:34 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me."

We learned that it is possible to be a full-time sender. God is not reliant on the world's monetary system. A full-time sender who gives 100% everything he has, time, money, resources etc, will never lack as these things will follow. Matthew 6:33 "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you". Senders can have a huge influence

in their church when they reportback from their goers. We were reminded that whatever ministry/skin contact 2, we are involved in, we must always focus/connect with the front-end. As senders we should invest in all the blocks (Muslim, Hindu, Animistic etc) with regards to our prayer, finance and time.

Ecc 2:26-27 "To the man who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God". This verse was equated to being a battery. Do we want to be batteries or do we want to be one those who please God. A full-time sender would not have to work and rely on the world's economic system to do his part. Remember Matt 6:33.
